Source: Daily Camera, Boulder, Colo.自存倉Aug. 01--It's not exactly a secret that Boulder has its fair share of hippies, but now a national real estate website has ranked the People's Republic as one of the Top 5 cities in the nation that are all about the One Love.Boulder was ranked the fourth best U.S. city for hippies by Estately in an article posted Wednesday."A popular hippie town back in the 1960s, Boulder re-invented itself as an affluent outdoorsy town, but it's still very rooted in its hippie traditions," the website said.Among the things that make Boulder hippie-friendly? Well, most importantly, according to Estately, "WOW do they love them some marijuana... The local bread may be gluten-free, but practically the whole damn town is baked."Estately also cites Boulder's "progressive politics, organic produce, public nudity" as reasons Boulder is a hippie paradise.Of course, it should be pointed out that many of the events the website points to as evidence of Boulder's hippieness -- incl迷你倉新蒲崗ding the naked pumpkin run, the world naked bike ride, and the annual 4/20 smoke-out on the University of Colorado campus -- are either gone or not nearly as big as in past years.But the website also gives a shout-out to Naropa University and the sitcom "Mork and Mindy," which was filmed in Boulder.Estately deemed Eugene, Ore., as No. 1in hippie hearts, while Olympia, Wash.; Asheville, N.C.; and Portland, Ore., joined the Boulder in the Top 5.Manitou Springs was the only other city in Colorado to make the list, coming in at 14.America's hippie havensThe real estate website Estately.com has ranked the best "cities for hippies" in the United States.
